Getting Around

We recommend flying into Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR) in the Costa Rican city of Liberia to connect to Costa Esmeralda, which is 20 minutes from the resort. A resort representative will meet you at the airport and drive you to the resort. If your vacation is four nights or longer, round-trip ground transportation to and from Costa Esmeralda Airport is included in your reservation.

We do not recommend driving in Nicaragua. With Mukul Resort's abundance of on-site amenities and activities, you most likely won't need to. Your concierge can arrange transportation for off-site exploring.
