Getting Around

Secret Bay is about 23 miles away from Douglas-Charles International Airport (DOM), on the other side of the island. A small commuter airport, Canefield Airport (DCF), is about 23 miles south. Members can also fly into the neighboring islands of Guadeloupe or Martinique then take an inter-island connecting flight or travel by ferry. Ferry travel time from Guadeloupe or Martinique to Dominica is two hours, and the ferry from St. Lucia is four hours. For assistance with your travel arrangements, contact your Care team. The hotel offers airport transfers for stays of seven nights or more.

Dominica is small enough that everything is accessible by car and taxis are readily available at the resort and airports. If you plan to spend a lot of time exploring the island outside of the resort, we recommend renting a car through club partner Avis. Note that driving is on the left side of the road and drivers will need a local license, which is issued by the rental agency.
