Chamonix, France

At the foot of the French Alps, the quaint mountain town of Chamonix offers world-class skiing and hiking amid the massive snow-capped peaks surrounding Mont Blanc. Stay with Inspirato at La Ferme du Bois, a 400-year-old farmhouse in the ski village of Les Bois, a five-minute drive from downtown Chamonix. The giant fireplace and private hot tub make for a cozy aprés-ski setting.

Skiing the slopes of Chamonix is a rite of passage for winter sports enthusiasts, as the resort town played host to the first ever Winter Olympics in 1924.
