Getting Around

Berlin is home to two major airports. Tegel International Airport (TXL) is the city's main hub and is located about 5 miles from Das Stue. Schönefeld International Airport (SXF) is a bit further at 14 miles, offering connections throughout Europe. From Tegel, a 20- to 25-euro taxi ride to your accommodations is recommended.

Due to its sheer size and major traffic, driving is not recommended in Berlin. Instead, we suggest exploring the city by foot or bike, the locals' preferred mode of transportation. Your concierge can arrange bicycle rentals for you and provide directions and maps for seeing the sights. Some of Berlin's most popular attractions, restaurants, activities and parks are just steps away. Taxis and public transportation are convenient and fast, as well.
