Twin Farms dates back to 1928 when Nobel Prize-winning novelist Sinclair Lewis bought the 300-acre property for his fiancée, journalist Dorothy Thompson. The modern bed and breakfast opened in 1993 and has since become one of the best luxury accommodations in the state.
